It is felt that the potential Thalassaemia patients and endangered children are regularity identified and given them the required assistance in order to help them lead a normal life.

•  To achieve the above objective a nation wide chain for identification of prospective Thalassaemia patients is to be carried out with the help of Thana Health Complexes and NGOs for ensuring the required medical services for them. This demand that:

•  Respective medical personnel are made well aware about the necessity for screening and identifying at the lowest tier of health management in the country.

•  Provision for subsidized service for the endangered patients regardless of their socio-economic position and physical location through out the country.

•  A nation – wide campaign is to be launched towards a community managed prevention of the disease.

•  Provision for detection of Thalassaemia wherever anemia is identified at Thana health centers.

•  Government pass law for making Blood test compulsory requirement for marriage registration in order to stop spreading of this hereditary disease.
